Chocolate Avocado Pudding Dessert

As a fanatical lover chocolate, I am always on the lookout for integrating new ways of chocolate in my diet. Here is a very unusual recipe that is both tasty and healthy. I keep a batch in the freezer and use it as my chocolate stash 'to me when these days will receive, the request drive me crazy. It is also a great treat for unexpected guests, and is a good complement to a cup of coffee.

Many of us have used avocado for guacamole, so we are familiar with thePudding texture, like an avocado production. This recipe uses the texture, and produces a rich chocolate pudding, are served either chilled or frozen.

2 ripe avocados
2 ripe bananas
1 / 4 cup soy or low fat milk
1 / 4 cup cocoa
1 / 8 to 1 / 4 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Peel and pit the avocados, or only half of it, remove the pits, and scrape the contents with a spoon. Place in blender or food processor. The peeledBananas, cut into pieces as you add them. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until the mixture is smooth. To save calories, I use only 2 tablespoons of syrup, but you can, as much as 1 / 2 cup and increase even more the right consistency. Scrape sides down two or three times during mixing. Share avoided in bowls, and place plastic wrap on the surface of each dish to "pudding crust. Chill or freeze before serving. If frozen, remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving foroptimal structure.

Makes 4 large or 6 medium servings.
